Thanksgiving

I have not stayed up to date on the blog lately. Life has been crazy with the move, work, holidays, etc. We have been working nonstop to get our house set up and we almost have it the way we want it. It is a lot of work to move, but a lot more work when you have to do it yourself and the company is not doing it for you. :) We love our new house though and we are relieved to be settled.

On Wednesday night before the boys went to bed, Kris and I set up the tree and put lights on it so it would be ready to decorate the next day. "Blue" our elf ( named by Kale) also brought the boys a present--a little tike nativity set.

After decorating the tree, the boys enjoyed watching the Macy's parade with Kris. Don't ask me why Kale has his coat on.

I cooked virtually all day and we didn't even have that large of a meal. We had ham, company potatoes, green beans with bacon and onions, rolls, gourmet mac & cheese, and chocolate peanut butter pie. It was delicious!

I love this picture of my little guy! He sure does love his bear!

After Thanksgiving dinner, we went to the movies as a family to see Frozen. It was a really cute movie. Liam did really well and made it until the very end. Kris took him into the lobby for the last 15 minutes. He probably would've lasted longer, but we ran out of popcorn.

This picture doesn't look nearly as funny as it did in person, but I came into the kitchen to see Liam climb into my chair, open my kindle, and start "reading."

On Friday night the boys were all tuckered out. I went upstairs to take a bath after I put Liam to bed. Kale and Kris were still downstairs watching TV. When I came down, this is the picture that I found. Both of them were snoring softly! Kale is more tired these days as he seems to be giving up his naps. Ugh! I am going to miss those naps!

Liam is an ice-eating machine. He woke from his nap on Saturday and immediately starting crying for ice. He wouldn't let me hold him or anything. He climbed right down the stairs, went and got an empty cup, filled it up with ice and sat on the living room floor with his ice to watch football contently for another 30 minutes.
